WELCOME to Baghdad Business to Business

Baghdad Business to Business EXPO and Conference, February 21st – 34th  2012, Baghdad Convention Center "BBBE" is our forth such event in Baghdad, all international, national and Regional companies are welcome, according to World Bank, Iraq needs over 100 billion dollars to rebuild itself, all sectors are crying for international investment, trading and cooperation, from electricity, Oil, Gas, Building, Housing, Technology, Environment, Medical and Hospital needs, Infrastructure, Transportation, Roads and Bridges, Water and Sewer, municipalities, major cities in Iraq, the list goes on and on.

Capital infusion on a large scale and for many years to come is essential, Iraq is has the largest oil reserve and by US Department of Energy estimates, maybe the largest, no one knows, there are only few oil wells producing today, we need thousands more. Iraq will finance the majority of those projects through oil revenues, yes we face low oil prices today and true the government is facing a budget shortfall but these are temporary conditions, however what we do not have and what we need is international knowhow, international investment, international cooperation, many years of neglect and isolation, wars and violence left Iraq way behind the rest of the world. Common sense dictates, Iraq will be the best investment opportunity today and for years to come, those of you that take the chance today will be handsomely rewarded, those that say to early, and are hesitant for one reason or another, will be left behind.

Impossible IS Nothing, that is Iraq International Company (IIC) maxim, we decided to be bold and to follow what we did in Kurdistan, where we build two convention centers in Arbil and Sulymania, today in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq we are announcing "Baghdad Convention Center", multimillion investment project in the heart of Baghdad capital
Baghdad Convention Center a much needed project to attract international companies to Iraq, the investment project will be located at Palestine Meridian Hotel in the heart of the capital, with over 6000 square meter space (60,000 SF) with architecture to match the famous hotel established in 1980.

The project is a joint cooperation between IIC and the government of Iraq to attract international companies, technology and investment to Iraq.

The project should be completed this year to accommodate a number of planed events including Iraq Energy EXPO and Conference, Iraq Beauty EXPO and Iraq Construction EXPO and Conference.

Today for any international business to visit Baghdad and meet with private business and public sector officials requires many steps from obtaining visa to accommodation and security, IIC is planning to have a one stop for all those essential requirements, imply business can contact us and we will arrange all their needs from visa to accommodation, transportation and security and arrange meetings with officials and private sector business owners in the specific field requested by customers

Mr. Sami Al Araji, Minister Iraq National Investment Board stated "Investment and attracting international capital to Iraq is vital for the development of a vibrant future for Iraq to be able to meet all its requirements for billions of dollars necessary in our rebuilding effort, Baghdad Convention Center, is but an important step in that direction"

Khalid Khanjar, General manager Palestine Meridian Hotel stated "Palestine Meridian Hotel is a landmark in Baghdad with some 450 rooms established back in 1980 as a five start hotel, and we are in the process to reestablish the hotel as an attractive center for business men and women from around the world that want to be in the center of the capital to accomplish their business needs, our arrangements with IIC will allow us to marshal our resources to be able to serve thousands of visitors which we expect each year"

See you in Baghdad, the land of opportunities.
